Amber Richardson

Amber is excited to join the team at CCU. Given that she is usually curled up with a book somewhere, she thinks she’ll be very happy spending her mornings answering emails surrounded by the Glenna J. Albers Library in the CCU Office. In addition to reading, Amber loves long walks, animals, and the ocean. Lately she has been writing essays and poetry. Amber grew up on the traditional lands of the Shoshone people in Southwest Idaho, after which she spent a decade studying in the Timpanogos heartlands—otherwise known as Central Utah. She’s been living on the windward side of the island since 2023, and is excited to have the chance to get to know some community members through this position.
