Today, CCU member and former pastor, Rev. Paul Brennan will focus on the life of Ruth, as described in the Old Testament. This beautiful but brief narrative provides valuable contemporary lessons for living in difficult times. Can change be transformed into opportunity? How can such an unlikely outsider become an intimate insider in the plan of God? The ancient story of Ruth, interwoven with a few facts from Kailua’s history, gives us some clues. We will also have music, a moment for kids and prayer.
