The forum is aimed at deepening our political education on what fascism is, how we can effectively organize to win a world without fascists, and the steps we can take in our everyday lives to build a world where no one can be excluded or left wanting. Speakers touch on these topics with a focus on how the scapegoating of the “migrant” is core to fascist politics and how our embrace of the stranger can help us win a world for everyone.
Speakers:
Gaye Chan, Eating in Public and Hawai‘i j20+
Bridget Anderson, Professor, University of Bristol, UK Author of “Us and Them: The Dangerous Politics of Immigration Controls.”
