Reverend Wally Fukunaga received his BA in Asian Studies from Harvard University, his M.Div. from Princenton Theological Seminary and his D. Min. from the Pacific School of Religion. He began his ministry in 1990 as an Interim Minister for Christ Church Uniting and we are happy he is joining us in that role once again.

Pastor Wally's carerr has included rebuilding Waimea UCC following Hurricane Iniki, serving as Senior Minister of the Community Church of Honolulu for eight years, serving as Interim Minister for the Waiokeoa Congregational Church and the Moanalua Community Church and as a Consultant for Advancement, PANA, Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley,CA.


Jane Muench. Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Jane attended Whitworth College in Spokane, WA for two years and received her B.A. in General Business from the University of Washington in 1962. Married to Bill Muench; they have three children; family moved to Hawaii in 1973 where she has been active in CCU for more than 35 years. Jane has enjoyed office employment in the following fields: law, accounting, agricultural research, psychology & church.

W.R. “Doc” Wilson became the Director of Music at CCU in 2002, after moving to the Islands from California, where he founded and conducted the Antelope Valley Children’s Choirs. Prior to teaching full time, Doc studied music (including graduate work at Juilliard) and served as Executive Director at a large campsite north of Los Angeles, with his wife, Kasey, and their children. Doc is the Chair of Fine and Performing Arts at Island Pacific Academy, in Kapolei.
